Tecfar routinely machines to 1/10ths (0.0001") tolerances on aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel parts. Since 2003, Tecfar has embarked on an ambitious investment campaign and more than quadrupled it's manufacturing capacity. Presently, Tecfar has eleven CNC machines composed as follows:
Mazak Integrex 200-IVS Machining Center. Our latest addition features full 5-axis capability, 12,000 rpm machining head, sub-spindle, 120 tool ATC, 1000 psi thru-spindle cooling, and barfeed.
Mazak VCN 510c Vertical Machining Centers. Tecfar has 3 VCN 510c machining centers. They all feature a full 4th-axis, probing and toolsetting, 12,000 rpm spindles, and 30 tool ATCs.
Mazak HCN-4000 Horizontal Machining Center. The HCN-4000 is a dual pallet, 120 tool ATC, 18,000 rpm spindle, auto probing and toolsetting machine, which also features high pressure, thru-spindle cooling.
Mazak FH-4800 Horizontal Machining Center. The FH-4000 is a dual pallet, 40 tool ATC, 12,000 rpm spindle, auto probing and toolsetting machine, which also features high pressure, thru-spindle cooling.
Mazak QTN-100 II Lathe. The QTN-100 is a small, extremely accurate, fast (6,000 rpm), 2-axis lathe used to machine small, precision parts.
Mazak QTN 250-MSY. This lathe features a subspindle, live tooling, Y-axis, and a barfeeder
Takisawa EX-510 Lathe. The Takisawa features dual spindles, live tooling, 6-axis capability on its two spindles, and a barfeeder.
Mazak QTN 200 Lathe. The Mazak lathe is a fast (5,000 rpm), reliable, 2-axis lathe used to accurately machine small to medium production parts..
The remaining CNC machine is an older Fadal Vertical Machining Center with a full 4th-axis used primarily for a handful of legacy parts. The Fadal is fastidiously maintained, however, and fully capable of 2/10ths accuracy.
